I am remembering today, June 26, 2026, because of friends and acquaintances who performed at the HollywoodBowl as part of the 250th anniversary of USA. Namely the Tabernacle Choir and Donny Osmond, and others.
Love Hollywood Bowl! In 1987 I was production coordinator w Bob Jani doing Los Angeles celebration of US Constitution Bicentennial noting wonderful coming together of so many cultures in L.A. We had 62 different ethnic performing groups. I lead a team of 50 sorority girls from Pepperdine to logistically handle all those groups in all movements in rehearsal and show from arrival, pre-show stage entrance and exit and departures home. The hardest to manage was the USC Trojan Marching Band.
It was not filmed or televised. It was awesome. Fond memory!
